After you buy the book using the Sony software. Find the book on your machine, drag the book to your calibre software and you will be able use Calibre from that point on to manage your book.

Calibre will let you modify the metadata, tags, collections, comments, ratings, cover etc... It will use the Sony software to read the books on the computer and transfer the books fine to the reader.

Because of the DRM you won't be able to change the file to other formats or change the font size.
