On the 600, if you have the device on and close it, you run the risk of some buttons being hit. I thought I saw somewhere on the forum that somebody had found a good fix for this. I know it's not a big deal to shut it off (or sleep, rather) when you close it, but sometimes I just have to toss the book down (gently) closing the cover.

I know when people were having issues with Kindle covers pushing buttons, they used one of those plastic/vinyl "bumpers" (or one of the felt pads - those are a bit thinner) that you can use on cabinet doors, etc - they're sticky on the back. They'd just put one on either the inside of the cover or on the Kindle itself.
