PDF reflow experiment/Anyone going to MEDC?

Hi all

I just tried an experiment that didn't work, but I thought I'd mention it so others dont waste their time.

The Adobe Reader for Pocket PC can reflow PDFs to match the display. So what I tried was using the Windows Mobile Device Emulator with a video resolution of 800x600, with Adobe Reader installed, synching over some PDFs and then copying them back to the PC. A number of them doubled in size when doing this, and they flowed nicely on the emulator, but once they were back on the PC they just looked the same as before. Ah, well, it was worth a try.

I've also tried the Foxit PDF editor but that seems to clip pages if you resize them, rather than scaling them.

Anyway, on a different note, I will be at MEDC in Las Vegas next week, giving a talk on Thursday morning on Live Search for mobile. Drop by if you're going to be there too!
