the flatcable should stay with the display, to disconnect the cable from the mainboard, lift the brown flap you have indicated on your picture. Use the flatcable of the other iLiad to connect to your main board.
The mainboard should be detachable from the part that you photographed. Perhaps there are some screws, not sure.
Anyway, it's best if you can replace the complete part shown in the picture from Q2.
