In the wee hours of this morning I got the following message:
Quote:
We are writing about your Kindle (Wayne's Kindle). Content is waiting to be downloaded to your device but your Kindle does not have enough memory space left to receive this content. To free up memory, go to the Home screen on your Kindle to remove items you no longer need on your device.

I haven't had a chance to check out exactly how much space I am using but there is no way that I have used up all of the storage space. I have only had my Kindle for less than a week and I have, at most, 30 documents on it.
I have tried deleting documents on my Kindle but I still can't download stuff as it says the memory is still full. When I delete items from the home screen they are still showing up but are "greyed out". If I click on the item then it opens up - so it is not actually deleting the documents. Is this how it is supposed to work?
I tried restarting my Kindle but that didn't work.
Anyone seen this before? Is it common to get this error?
By the way - how do you see how much space is available on your kindle?
