Some cards (many? many of mine, at least) charge a conversion fee so being able to pay in my 'native' currency would avoid that. Of course if all it does is make you pay the conversion fee then maybe it wouldn't be worthwhile-but if you're able to work a deal with your bank to avoid it then it would be beneficial to your (non-European) buyers.
