As you live in Germany and they are shipped from Germany, one indeed has to wonder what takes so long? I have the gut feeling they are using pen-and-paper for administration :-( That would explain a lot.
Sorry, off-topic... um... I voted "yes" :-) And I agree with "sticking to standards". I know, it is always tempting to reinvent and "improve", but... please, no new extensions, if not REALLY necessary.
