well there we are then. thanks ! i can never remember dates. the best i could tell you is i was still living in my previous appartment, so it was definitely more than 10 years ago. but yes, it was FREEZING that year. in paris we had -13°C !!

that's almost unheard of.

i think it was in january when it snowed here last year too (florence ? do you remember ? or katti's cat ?). it was even more exceptional than usual because that time it snowed, and then IT STAYED ! finally i understood what people complained about as a lot of it got tramped down and turned into ice, and going to the shops turned into an obstacle course where you hoped you'd make it there and back without breaking your neck. still fun though !
