Just on the closing pages of *The Book Thief*. At first, I found the writing style and layout not to my taste ... but, gosh, the book is well worth sticking with: Powerful story, powerful characters, picks up pace as you turn the pages -- all in all, one of the best reading experiences of a lifetime.
