I agree with "Chaos" to create /usr/local/sbin as well as to go for the established file extensions. I am a longtime Debian user and would like to see dpkg and friends on the Iliad since they are excellent, but maybe ipkg does the same job and is already on the reader.

p.s. impatiently waiting for my device to arrive ! Do they handcraft every single one upon order?
