I like all of the suggestions, so I voted YES!
Question: what happens if a file already exists? Either because its a library from another custom package, or because the user is installing an upgrade... does the ipkg packaging system ensure that upgraded library files are upgraded, but let's say customized config files left alone (or replaced once confirmed by the user)?
