Taiwan-based BenQ has unveiled its first e-book reader, the nReader, which will be officially launched in 2010,
Cens reports. BenQ is collaborating with AU Optronics, Qisda, and Sipix Technology to make the nReader. The e-book reader is slated for launch in Taiwan, Japan, China, and the US in January next year. BenQ expects sales to reach 300,000 units in 2010, accounting for 4-5 percent of global market supply. In Taiwan alone, the company targets sales of 50,000 units next year, aiming for a 50 percent market share.
