I wish it were so - but after 15 odd years of making that stuff, it is expected. I tried making chocolates one year instead of the chutney. Instead of "How nice they are yummy" I got "And where is the chutney?"

So no, chutney & figs in vodka are no longer considered presents but obligation in my family
