OK, we've exposed the difference between Amazon and a catfish is that one's a bottom-dwelling scum-sucker and the other's a fish.
Scam or not, I for one will not pay for the "privilege" of using the Amazon "wireless service that's not a wireless service" for their PC application. It is clearly just an excuse to add a levy on the already overburdened and over-paying non-US customers (since it takes their so-called "free" eBooks and makes them pricey). Why not just call it a "screw the non-US customer fee" and be upfront about it? Calling it a wireless fee is insulting.
So let's get back to the really important question -
where the hell is the Kindle for PC PID? That's what's needed to make the PC app really worthwhile... if you get my drift...
