Hmm, what do you mean by "SIM card receptable"?

The one big part is the modem which needs access to a SIM card. So the combination of both I would call a SIM card receptable.

Or do you mean the part you can put the SIM card in? Yes, the yellow SIM card is normally covered by a metal cover which is open on my pics. You can see the metal on the bottom of the SIM card.
