And thanks for being worried about the finances - no, I didn't buy all those books. Got heaps of inspirations from here, tried out new authors (well downloaded anyway) and heaps of classics. All the stuff I never thought i wanted to read (well I wasn't willing to pay for them anyway).
My wishlist in the various bookstores is growing though. I just purchased a book from each store to see if I could - so thank god I am somewhat limited as not all stores sell to us Ozzies.
Just found another treasure trove: the German Gutenbergprojekt. So am currently stocking up on original texts. I'm sure Gutenberg is in other languages as well - oh my oh my.
