You'll find anything you need to know about your 600 here. The first thing I would do is to download and use Calibre instead of the Sony book management software. It was created by a MobileRead member (Kovid Goyal).

What do you like to read? You'll find lots of great advice around here on where to find free books. There are lots of well-formatted books here. You can also use Calibre's Fetch news feature to download tons of free magazines and newspapers.
