Actually what a couple of us, at least, want, is to also choose the default font face in ePub. It defaults to Times Roman in a light grey. Not the clearest for reading, and can't be changed.
In mobi you can change font face, but you have to do it for every book you open (although it does remember for that book)
There is a global setting for fonts in the main settings menu of the device, but it seems to be ignored by both the ePub and the mobi reader software. The intention of a global default font for reading is good, but they have not implemented it properly - i.e. it doesn't work for mobi and ePub (and possible other formats)
