More likely that with the continuing increase in the popularity of netbooks that they just don't see a gap in the market between smartphones and laptops that would allow them to sell a product with a large enough profit margin, especially in the uncertain economic situation we have currently and the current costs, performance and power considerations of the available screen technologies.
