meraxes makes an interesting point...piracy is easy to spot if it means stealing something instead of buying, however, if you "steal" something that you can't actually buy...then it really starts getting weird...

This is something the publishers have to start thinking about, it's the same lesson the music industry had to learn...if it is easier to steal something (because buying means either DRM madness or in some cases unavailability of the product due to geo-restrictions) then something is wrong.
Stealing is always cheaper, so buying has to be easier to be attractive as an option at all...
