The small screen readers will have problems with most tech books, I think. I've loaded some on my DR1000 which does a great job of displaying them, but I generally don't read them on my ereader. Most tech books I use for reference and end up flipping around quite a bit. That's slow on the ereader. I generally go dead tree or pdf on my computer at work. I have dual screens at work so have the pdf up on one while doing my work on the other.

Yes, you can read them on the ereaders but the experience isn't great. For books that are read through it's great, for reference books that you flip through, not always the best experience.
