Is there a way to ask Sony to apply the $75 credit to upgrade from PRS 500 to the new Daily Edition? Currently the offer only works for the recently released readers.

Is it polite to start a petition in the Sony forum? Don't want to be disruptive. Thought I'd ask before starting something.
