I want the Nook for its looks and the ability to read library books without "fixing" them. I have a Kindle 2 and I hate the keyboard which makes it bigger. I only read novels/books and have no need to write or annotate or anything else. Frankly if Amazon made a goodlooking ebook reader without 4 inches of wasted space I may have upgraded.
I tried the Sony readers at a bookstore but the page turns were very slow and it appeared as if the text was not as clear as on the Kindle.
