Real life got in the way again. I'm at around 28k though, still ahead of the curve. Not by much though. Hopefully tomorrow I'll do some catch up. Looking to nail down at least 10k from around 2p - 10p. Even if I have to hole myself into a closet or something.
My character just had a massive transformation in the span of two paragraphs. I hope it translates well in the scheme of things. I may have to explain this a little more in a rewrite.
Back in the beginning he waxed poetic about killing a helpless deer.
And now he garrotes a blind old man. It was the easiest way I could think of to get him in the tower. I'm going to have to explain in a backstory or dialog how the Sun is like mystical and is believed to have magic healing powers (LOL)
Which would explain why he'd have to dress up as a blind old man to get in to go pray for sight.
Man, my world is twisted.
