Question editing 'comments' in metadata screen

I am adding synopsis info to my some books in my library, and want to be able to separate paragraphs in 'comments' when describing multiple books in anthologies. If I just it 'return' twice, it results in <br/><bf/> in the middle of one long paragraph.

I know I have other, older, books that have paragraphs in that field. Has a recent upgrade changed this ability? Is there some 'code' I need to input, instead of 'return' twice?

I admit it is a minor inconvenience, compared to the great improvements in recent editions of Calibre. Love it, Love it!
