You miss the point that most Kindle owners for the most part, don't *have* to go outside the Kindle store for content. Why do you think the apps for the iPhone/iPod Touch and now Kindle for PC have people so excited... it's because Amazon has the content and best pricing (more often than not) and they now have access.
