if you are going to release an item that is going to stimulate so many user questions right before the biggest buying/gift giving season of the year, you'd best have ALL of your ducks in a row. especially those information ducks. they need to be standing tall and perfectly spit and polished

I've gotten the feeling that they are rushing it out the door for the holiday shopping season and were not nearly as ready as they should have been. The bait and switch tactics on lending ebooks would have been reason enough for me to take a pass, but the way their own folks seem to have no real working knowledge of the device should be enough to make most folks want to take a step back and wait till someone has actually seen and handled the device and can comment intelligently about it's relative merits. Especially in light of the fairly steep restocking fees.
