We spent it on a bread machine for me, so what I'm doing is trying to figure out how to use it!

I don't know if you'll need it, but here's a link to some
great recipes! As Kindlekitten said, you're in for a treat!

Enjoy!

3. I totally understand. When my son and I moved back down close to my patents, I had sold most of my furniture from our house (the new house we bought was smaller). I planned on buying new stuff after the moving van delivered what I had saved and after I decided what would fit. Well, loving family that I have, the parents, sis-in-laws, and an aunt decided to "help" and donated items to our new home. They were so happy to "help" and love seeing their stuff have a home in my home. At least my mom said thanks for giving her a reason for getting new stuff.
4. My son just bought a house and guess what? I plan on "gifting" him just as I was "gifted". Definately looking forward to that because that what family is for, right?
5. I'm already looking at new carpet and couches.

Then my day to own new furniture will come? Nothing that I have I actually bought!
Am I reading that your son will inherit what your family gave you at first? Talk about recycling! You can see your gifts as a great environmental gesture also, that's wonderful! And mostly, congrats to your son for his new house! It must be so exciting on so many different levels!
Any luck in finding the perfect couches and carpet?
