You should stick to things that are possible. The device does read mobi, but it's mobi licencing that prevents it handling mobi DRM files at the same time as Adobe and ePub. I'd much rather have ePub as I believe in open standard formats. It actually seems strange to be using mobi which uses a file format that belongs on a Palm OS device - a system that is dieing quickly, even Palm have moved on.
