flyfree -- I tried this on an ebook that i borrowed from the new york public library. There is a way to get your notes, tho its not via the export function.

Basically, i saw the error message that you mention above. But if i sync the prs600 with the sony software, and then open up the ebook in the library folder, then I can copy each note individually.

(in the sony software, in the 'reader' folder, it wont even let me do that; but once i've synced it, i can do that much from within the 'library' folder).

It still wont let me use the export function tho, but at least you can pull the individual notes out via copy/paste of their text.
