I just found my copy of Illegal Aliens. This was written by Nick Pollotta in 1989. Fortunately it's still in print, and you can find it at Fictionwise.

This book is a delightfully funny and absurd scifi romp. I can't stop laughing. If you like Terry Prachett, you should get this book. If you like reading about the odd things that happen in the MR Lounge, you should get this book.

I was tempted to crib some parts for my posts, but I decided to share the whole thing. It's really funny.
