I suggest trying the EZ Reader firmware from here. It has Adobe Digital Editions.

I don't know if it will have the long page turn issue for the 6" (Hanlin V3) or not, since I run OpenInkPot on mine. Earlier versions on the Pocket Pro (Hanlin V5, BeBook Mini) did have the slow down you describe and it was apparently fixed in more recent firmwares.
