I use the SD card because I have several large PDFs--I keep RPG gaming books on the card, and they'd use up too much of the internal space.

I've been considering switching everything else to the internal memory. I do keep losing bookmarks (not that I use them enough to care). I don't normally use Calibre or the Library; I just load books onto the Reader using Windows Explorer.
