I just saw a PRS-600 for the first time in-person the other day and I was very disappointed. The screen looked like an old-school monochromatic LCD screen from 1987. I don't know why Sony is so hell-bent on incorporating a touchscreen into their e-reader devices. To me, the main attraction to stand-alone ebooks is the clarity and contrast of the screen. If you have to sacrifice that for a touchscreen, it's just not worth it.
