I'm looking at the Mocha Executive Jacket and it's made of smooth leather. No other color except the red seems to appeal to me very much, and the red for the 300 would probably be made of the same material as your daughter's red 700 cover, so I guess I'd have to rethink again if I would want something that scratches quite easily.
