I've already found a free third-party CSS parser that I think I can adapt to let me do basic CSS decoding, and in terms of options for controlling justification/rendering complexity, it doesn't add much to the footprint of the application - I just need to add more 'advanced' options; people who care to can adjust these, and people who don't care don't need to go to the 'settings/advanced' tab. It will increase the amount of space used by the program's temporary files, but I don't think that's too much of an issue.
I'll work on this for version 1.0 - give me a week or two, and let's see where we end up
