I would think it a good suggestion that new members be pointed towards and familiarize themselves with these guidelines.
The
Introduce Yourself Here - Welcome Guests and New Members thread is closed, but an additional polite invitation to review the guidelines might be helpful to new members and beneficial to us all.
This is probably mentioned to new members as a condition when signing up, but I can't remember reading it, and I didn't see it in
desertgrandma's welcome either, so a bit of a reminder may be appropriate.
Existing members should also be reminded of these guidelines, and I'm glad to see that moderators are doing just that in certain threads.
If this suggestion is covered elsewhere, never mind.
