Ok, I just now asked the Little Man, and he said that it works because he's inside a bigger circle that is part of a two-wheeled cycle, and that the "Triangle People" are aliens who have taken control of all the circles in the world. Of course, as you are no doubt aware, the squiggly line is a road that they're working on. The entire plan is called "Plan 10 From Outer Space." The Little Man has actually just jumped OFF the seat.
