Well, there's no "i" in team and no "s" in "he", but apart from that you've touched on some already premised notions. But, a demon though...? Why, that would require something bestial, sub-human, ostensively evil...maybe even a...a gibbon. Surely I wouldn't have written a gibbon into my first novel?
Or would I?
