Wonder if the name, Alex, came from thinking of "a lexicon"?
I like the potential of this sort of design. The display has far, far more potential over the color strip on the Nook. Still, just as with the Nook, I wanna see it work in the wild not some marketing demo...no matter what the whole competition thing is nice.
BTW, as I view this design once you begin reading a book on the eink display and the LCD is off, just as with the Kindle's keyboard, the lower portion will sort of disappear and you won't even notice it's there. I was doubtful of the K1's keyboard and of all the things I do not like about the design of the Kindle, the keyboard is NOT a distraction for me.
