Just back from a 6 pm meeting with my new client. The project sounds rather standard: under-staffed, under-funded, and with too short a schedule.
The good news is that I'm jumping in right at the fun part, the system just went live and I'm supposed to help users who suddenly have no idea how to do things they didn't even have to think about before. It's a very rewarding time, maybe my favorite, because people are usually very grateful when you help them out
The bad news is that we go
by car tomorrow morning, because there is a train strike (in Belgium and not France for a change). I may even have to drive
We are going to 's-Hertogenbosch, in the Netherlands. I am not kidding, this is really the name of the city. Who would have thought that a name can start with an apostrophe - or is it a quote?
I need to start packing...
