I wrote to Bookeen the other day about the upgrade and here is what they replied to me -
Sir,
Due to technical issues we still can not release the new firmware upgrade. We do apologise for the inconvenience. Please be sure that we are doing our best to solve this problem as quick as possible.

Not good news but they do seem to be working on trying to get a new firmware release out....
