I'm with DesertGrandma. I used to be sooo excited about a new King book. This whole thing has kind of ruined the experience. We have more and more authors doing this (the Kennedy Biography, Palin). Hopefully, the price war over pbooks will end this tactic. Otherwise, we always have the stick!

I think Mr. King has shown a willingness to experiment with formats, like serializing
The Green Mile. He has also shown a willingness to walk away from an experiment when it doesn't work,
The Plant. I think he will probably recognize the failure and not replicate it.
