It's not a matter of supporting Overdrive, it's a matter of being able to afford the set-up.maintenance fee and purchasing titles beyond that. Love the service, though. As far as those libraries that offer audiobooks only, the e-book market has been slower to get a reader that really will attract the masses. We have had the Kindle for a few years now but it is proprietary and the TOU is restrictive. I think the Nook is going to inject the right amount of competition into the mix and attract a lot more people to purchase a device. Compatibility will follow. I'm ready to jump on the e-book shelf at my library to get a collection of e-books going for all of our patrons who will be unwrapping a Nook this Christmas.
