Well, maybe not really but grew up sort of in the south -- Oklahoma Texas border -- I'm totally enjoying "The March" at the moment. I love the King of the Hill cause it has people exactly like I grew up with.
I'd second Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. Excellent and a classic for a reason.
