Did you know you can take out the external SmartMedia card and copy new books using a SM card reader (usually part of the 20-in-one or All-in-one USB card readers)? If you need help, just ask, but be careful...
By the way, is your converted REB1100 (actually the 1150) using the
latest firmware from
