If like me you live in the UK and feel frustrated about being unable to get any books from the Sony US store you may be interested in this solution which works for free books. I was very keen to get The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry which Sony are offering for free. I found that if I went into Preferences in the eBook Library and changed my region from UK to United States and then shut the eBook Library software down, reopened it and clicked on eBook Store it took me to the US Sony site. I selected the FREE book I wanted, added it to my shopping cart and then was forced to register. During the registration process a page comes up asking for credit card details, I cancelled on this page without entering credit card details. I was then taken back to my cart and the book downloaded! I suspect this will work only for free books but I can live with that. Hope this is of use to other UK users. Apologies if you already are aware of this but I'm new.
