Christmas presents? I've managed to knit a scarf, and most of a jumper (just finishing the second shoulder, then I've got a v-neck and sleeves to go). And a washcloth, which I'll team with a bar of 'gourmet' soap (smells so good you won't mind having your mouth washed out). I just have a jumper, a few more washcloths, and maybe a couple of scarves to go. I think it's do-able!!
