Hello from Redmond, WA

Hi everybody!

I saw my first eReader back in 2002, the Sony LIBRIe. One of my engineering classes was using it as a demonstration about entrepreneurship. If I had had any idea at the time that file formats and DRM would so damage the industry, I probably would have beat them up right there!

I became interested in e-Reading for myself after moving several times and packing up all my hundreds of books. They are simply too heavy!

After I started reading fiction on my iPhone I knew I had to have a larger device for technical books, and am waiting eagerly for the release of the DR800SG. I hope it is all it is cracked up to be!
