I went to update my Ubuntu lappy to Kinky Koala this morning (oh, okay, it's called "Karmic Koala"), but it wanted to download over a gig of data, and that's not good for peak time on our peak/off-peak capped plan (unfortunately, unlike Apple and Microsoft, my Ubuntu updates aren't in my ISP's "freezone"). I guess I'll set it off tomorrow morning if I remember. If everything goes to hell (though it shouldn't) I might try hackintoshing the thing.

(Note, there's no real data I care about on my lappy - it's really being used like a "netbook". That is, web-browser only)

Cheers,
Marc
